40-Hour-DevotionBeginning at 6:30 pm Sunday, March 25 (Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion) until 5:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, ST. Michael’s will hold a FORTY HOURS DEVOTION’ of continuous Eucharistic Adoration in church.   All are urged to take part — families, couples, students, all parish groups & organizations and everyone of the Faithful. The 40 Hours Devotion is a period of uninterrupted, continuous adoration and prayer before the Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.  The focus is solely on Jesus Christ our Lord in the Real Presence of the Eucharist.

The period ‘40’ reminds us of the 40 hours Jesus was in the desert and also the time Jesus was in the Holy Sepulcher (tomb) before His Resurrection on Easter.

This is an awesome time of quiet prayer and reflection that all are invited to experience.

Please sign up for an hour (or more!) on the special sign up poster located in the church by the large Lenten Cross in the Gathering Space.  This is not limited to only St. Michael’s parishioners;  it is available for all the Faithful in our region.   There will be a closing Mass for our 40 Hours Devotion on Tuesday, March 27 at 5:30 pm

For more information, please call the parish office at (518) 792-5859.

NB: EVERY hour MUST be covered, especially overnight! Please sign up in the gathering space. Come and spend an hour with the Lord!.
