Faith Formation Office

At St. Michael the Archangel Parish, we welcome children, teens, adults and their families to deepen their understanding of the Catholic Faith. Through programs and prayer, events and outreach, rituals and fun, we help the participants deepen their appreciation and knowledge of the faith and help them to see Jesus in each other and in the community.

The ST. MICHAEL’S FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM is managed by Jim Gorman, Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation, 518-792-5859 Ext. 15

Adults, parents and grandparents can share their experiences and faith as catechists — we’re always happy to provide training at no cost to those who need it or would it.

For more information or to sign up for one of the programs, please contact  Jim Gorman, our Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation, at 792-5859 Ext 15.

Note to Parents of Children ages three to twelve:

Children’s bulletins are available at church entrances for children ages three to six and seven to twelve. Activities included in each bulletin relate to the particular weekend Gospel. There is no charge for the bulletin.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry, a group which looks to include teens into the life of the Parish, is under way at St. Michael’s. Some of the plans for Youth Ministry include service, social, The Word, evangelization, education, and community-building. Any teen (and his/her parents) is very welcome to speak with Fr. Tony or Jim Gorman for more information.
